FAQs
What kind of guests are you looking for?
Braving the Brightside isn’t built around titles or follower counts—it’s built around transformative stories. Some guests are household names. Others have never stepped in front of a camera. What they all share is a journey marked by courage, resilience, compassion, healing, or purpose. If your story has the potential to help even one person believe tomorrow can be brighter than today, it’s a story worth telling. The guest may change, but the mission never does: tell stories that leave people with more hope than they had when they pressed play.
How do you choose guests?
Every guest is chosen with intention. I’m less interested in résumés and follower counts than I am in the moments that shaped someone’s life. The stories that stop us in our tracks. The setbacks that became turning points. The quiet acts of compassion that restored faith in humanity. If a conversation has the power to make someone think differently, feel more deeply, or walk away believing the world is a little brighter than they did an hour earlier, it’s a story worth telling.
How do I apply to be a guest?
Fill out the guest application form on the website. Tell me your story, why it matters, and who it could help. Every submission is personally reviewed.
What happens if I’m selected?
We’ll schedule a quick pre-interview to get to know each other, discuss your story, and make sure it’s a great fit. If everything aligns, we’ll schedule your recording.
Where are interviews recorded?
Most interviews are recorded remotely, allowing guests from anywhere in the world to join. Occasionally, I conduct in-person interviews for special projects and documentaries.
Is there a cost to be on the show?
Never. Guests are invited because of the value of their story not because they paid to be featured.
Can I sponsor the podcast?
Absolutely. Braving the Brightside is built on meaningful relationships, and I approach sponsorships the same way. I’m open to collaborating with businesses, brands, nonprofits, creators, and organizations of all kinds—as long as the partnership feels authentic, serves the audience, and reflects the quality and integrity of the platform. The best collaborations aren’t interruptions to the conversation—they become part of the story.
Why “Braving the Brightside?”
Because optimism isn’t pretending life is easy. It’s choosing hope anyway. The brightest moments are often earned by people who walked through the darkest seasons.
